“Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”” John 4:13-14 NIV
Every single thing we do has one thing in common, it can’t never fully satisfy us. This apply to bad things but also to good things. We all aim to the best we can with everything we do, but even our best XYZ has this deficiency: it never fully satisfy us.
Today is my 41 birthday and while friends and family will congratulate me and some might even send me some gifts, today I’m more aware than ever that no gift will fully satisfy me. I can’t believe I’m going to say this, but Amazon can supply my happiness.
Jesus says ‘whoever drinks from this water will be thirsty again... but whoever drinks the water I give... will never thirst again’. Let us do the best we can all of the time and be grateful for the gifts we might receive along the day, but knowing full well where our true source of happiness really comes from.
If I could give you a hug, hi5, or fist bump from here I definitely would. As long as you don't mind a couple typos here and there, you're MOST welcome to check in, drop a comment here and there, and make yourself at home.
